He dropped Lil from his name about six years ago, chopped off the childish cornrows for a more mature Caesar-cut, and apparently his new album is rumored to be his first to receive a Parental Advisory sign. The world watched him grow up and now only 22 years of age and well over 10 years experience in the game, today Bow Wow is scheduled to release his 6th solo studio album, New Jack City II. With singles like “You Can Get It All” (featuring Johnta Austin) and “Marco Polo,” it seems like Jermaine Dupri has to keep a watchful ear and eye on Bow Wow who’s not Lil’ anymore.

With such an immense loyalty for his hometown, rapper Flo Rida couldn’t help but name himself after the Sunshine State and as a fairly new artist, he’s definitely shining amongst the best of ‘em. On his debut album, he popularized Nelly’s Apple Bottom jeans with the hit single, “Low” (featuring T-Pain) and if you tune into the radio at some point today, your head will be spinnin’ with his new hit, “Right Round” (featuring Kesha). This single is not only heavy on rotation on the radio and TV, but it’s currently at the top of the Billboard 100 charts and on top in digital downloads. Today, Flo Rida is scheduled to release his sophomore album, R.O.O.T.S. (Route of Overcoming the Struggle) and if the other tracks on this new album is as successful as its leading single, he should have no problem getting over the sophomore album jinx.
