One-Night stands are tricky, I don’t necessarily condone or condemn them. I have definitely participated in my fair share of momentary hookups. There is always a level of excitement that comes along with a new partner and the heat of sexual exploration. These rendezvous are usually pleasurable, but often a little empty. As with most things that are fun, there can be dire consequences that come with one-night stands from physical to sexual safety. I try to keep those things in mind when I find myself in those steamy situations where I know I have nothing in common with someone other than our sexual interest. I’m sure that I will have a few more one-nighters, but look forward to them being a distant memory.

I often have disturbing thoughts that trouble me. I often daydream of doing wild things and hurting people. I know that sounds crazy as ALL HELL… believe me, I do! I couldn’t tell you how many times a day I think to myself “Yo, I should just hop over this counter and beat this dude ‘cuz I told him no tomatoes!” Or “damn, this fat chick in front of me just made me miss the train ‘cuz she tryna eat a slice, look for her MetroCard and send a text message. I should drop kick her down the stairs and stomp her out real quick and hop on the train” …and these are the not so crazy thoughts. I can actually visualize this in my head and see myself doing it and almost feel the pleasure I would feel in action. I don’t know if it’s the energy of New York or just me, but I’m becoming very hostile. I would never really act on any of my wild thoughts only because I wouldn’t want to face the consequences of those actions. As a child, I was very rambunctious and would often do harmful things before I knew wrong from right and had a conscience. The odd thing is that I have been discussing this amongst my friends and it’s not so uncommon.

Anything that happens once should be worth your wild, right? That is what I believe society tries to make you believe forcing you to give second thought on leaving your date at the door at the end of the night. I mean sometimes it’s the Goose that got you loose but even in that loose moment, I try to think of moments after and how I would feel about myself afterwards. Please let us not forget the scenario in Ludacris’ latest video because I know we have all been there at one moment or another where you go to bed with Hyde and wake up next to Jekyll. So I think- let’s limit the one-nighters to extraordinary experiences that guarantee a smile on your face for years to come.

Seize the day! Sometimes life takes you from a dead zone- where you wish you were doing all of the things you need to do to get to your goal in life, to almost chaos where you feel you don’t even have time to be you. What I want all of us to do is to remember all of those times where you were sitting thinking and not doing. While things are busy, remember your goals and actively pursue them so that your progress is always moving forward rather than nowhere.

Be blessed…KuTTy

When you think of sex scandals, the last person you’d associate with that is Oprah Winfrey. She has become such a luminary over the years and is living proof that the average person can rise above adversity. But for our final sex scandal, we’d like to briefly touch on the recent scandals that have plagued her $46 million Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa. Since its inception in 2007, this school has already experienced 2 scandals- the first one between a dorm matron and a student and most recently, there’s been speculation about another one involving just students. Considering the fact the incident transpired at an all-girls institution that houses pupils between the grade levels of 7 to 12, you’d expect the sexual tension and curiousity just because these young girls are at such an impressionable age. But when an adult (who should definitely know better than to condone such lewd behavior) is factored into the equation- he/she (she in this case) becomes a vital part of the issue. We’re all aware that Oprah was molested by close family members at the tender age of 9, so you know this is not an issue she takes lightly nor will she sweep it under the rug to avoid public scrutiny. Apparently, the dorm matron was charged with abusing 6 students and the students were expelled for their behavior. See, Oprah don’t play y’all- especially when the students don’t have to pay for anything or do anything other than get an education and follow the school’s rules. Just goes to prove that sex scandals are everywhere, not just in the U.S. It’s unfortunate, but sex is becoming more of an everyday adolescent occurrence than an adult past time. Times are changing and it’s up to us to change with it. Granted, sex has it’s ups & downs but the last thing you want is a scandal to surface, so stay on top of yours!DRE.B.EZ

One-night stands are okay if you ask me- as long as ALL PARTIES (depending on how freaky you are) are fully aware of their role and how this exchange is going to play out. That in my opinion, is the only way it’ll work! I’m guilty of having a few one-night stands in the past and most of the them ended well. Some of them ended sour, and those that did were left in the “lessons learned” category- just so I know what NOT to do & what NOT to say in the future. In most cases, we both got out of each other what we wanted in the heat of the moment and then we go our separate ways. I’m totally fine with that, but as I get older- the whole idea of hittin’ the sheets with some random fling is becoming tired & not as exciting as it once was. Living in NYC where there’s just so much eye candy and temptation it’s difficult sometimes to remember your morals. All I can advise is: if this is going to be your thing, don’t do it carelessly. Protect yourself & play on playa! I ain’t mad ‘atcha.

I wasn’t too impressed by the selection of music being released this week. No sweat for me though as that’s more money in my pocket to be spend elsewhere. But here’s a well-anticipated album that was recently released that I forgot to feature and am sure you’ll enjoy.

Love Rap?
…Well Hip-Hop’s livest duo Red & Meth have been in the studio brewing up another dose of antics for us patiently waiting fans. More mature, well-seasoned, and ready to put it down on their anticipated sophomore album together since ‘99- Blackout! 2, I pray Method Man & Redman haven’t abandoned their carefree, old school personas I’ve grown to love. But with singles like- “A Yo” and “Mrs. International” showcasing their “old school” flows on “new school” beats and new age studio sounds- it’s bound to be another classic! In my opinion, one that’s definitely 10 years overdue.

So as the last installment to our guide to the health side of sex I KuTTy am going to give you the secret to GREAT sex: Sleep. Yes, sleep. Being well rested can help both men and women control the direction in which they want their intimate experience to go. Also with energy levels on high you have more time to try and experiment with new ways to heighten your sexual experience. This to me adds up to a much better experience than trying to knock something out really quickly and crashing towards the end. But the best reason for making sure you are fully caught up on your Z’s is that your recovery time after the big O is a lot quicker which means, oh yes, you can go on and on til’ the break of dawn( I know corny). So get some rest and try again in the morning.

Be blessed…KuTTy

I don’t know what it is, but for the past 2 weeks I’ve been having these really erotic, sexual rendevous with random friends of mine. That’s great as I’m all for gettin’ it in, but my problem is these encounters are happening in my dreams. I’ve slept with 3+ friends of mine already, and they don’t even know it. They weren’t there; they can’t even go talk to their girlfriends about me… that’s lame! I mean, c’mon… I feel like a grown man trapped in a horny, puberty-driven teenage boy’s body dreaming about hittin’ the sheets with close friends…? WTF? I even had a kid with some chick one night! …Problem! Maybe it’s because we’re talking about sex a lot this month, and this is the one month I’m just not getting any? Or maybe it’s time I finally commit wholeheartedly to a serious relationship? But, it’s quite obvious that I’m long overdue a good beat session! Whatever the case may be, I’m becoming a raging slore in my dreams and that’s wack! I’m totally satisfied through the night, but when I wake up- I’m humored at the fact that it never really happened. I’m laughing and somewhat embarassed by my situation as I’m writing this, but it’s all good. Everyone has a dry spell, and I guess it’s my turn now as long as it doesn’t meander it’s way into the hot Summer months. But I’m not gonna be a lame and sit around feeling sorry for myself; it’s time to find wifey or a hardcore & consistent Summer jumpoff. I’m taking applications…

Oh Sugar! I almost forgot. In the midst of all these BBQs, Brooklyn house parties, and mixed drinks- it just dawned on me that we didn’t put y’all on to what’s happening this week. My bad! Let’s just say you’re boy is a bit zooted, so I’ll keep it brief. Check out out this final sex-filled week in May to discover what music albums to look out for, more healthy tips to boost your sexual G.P.A., another memorable sex scandal, and our responses to another question from one of our readers. There’s probably a few extra things I can’t really remember right now, but keep it locked and let us know where the last minute BBQs are at? For real, for real.

I’m currently sitting at a restaurant with a colleague of mine and the only thing on my mind is how I can figure out a way to ditch him. It’s so hard to tell people you work with that you’re not interested in them outside of the work place. Call me a hard ass, but I have never been one to seek friendship where I work. Being in the dance industry I am constantly surrounded by new groups of people in new working environments often for an extended time of about two months or so. Typically once the gig is done we all go our separate ways sometimes never to see each other again. This has programmed me to keep things on a superficial level. Don’t get me wrong I’m open to the possibility that there could be at least one cool person that I can vibe with, but I can usually peg that from the first rehearsal. My intent is to always be cordial and maintain a pleasant and productive working environment and leave the socializing to the people that I choose to befriend- rather than the people that have been brought to my life through circumstance.
