This Life: Gotta Play Your Cards Right!

This Life is filled with ups and downs, but it’s all about how well you play the cards you’ve been dealt. It’s just like a game of spades- you can either ‘Play to Win’, or you can ‘Play to Last’. The contender that ‘plays to win’ seizes all opportunities to advance to the next level, leaving ZERO room for error and always has in the back of their mind the notion that: “I must conquer everything thrown my way in order to ensure the win!” While, the contender that ‘plays to last’ might always advance to the next level, but it’s not always accomplished through skill- more than likely, it’s by the skin of their teeth. When life throws you its curveballs, you can either strike out because you weren’t ready and didn’t know it was coming, or you can smash that ball past the outfield and out the park because you were prepared.
