One-night stands are okay if you ask me- as long as ALL PARTIES (depending on how freaky you are) are fully aware of their role and how this exchange is going to play out. That in my opinion, is the only way it’ll work! I’m guilty of having a few one-night stands in the past and most of the them ended well. Some of them ended sour, and those that did were left in the “lessons learned” category- just so I know what NOT to do & what NOT to say in the future. In most cases, we both got out of each other what we wanted in the heat of the moment and then we go our separate ways. I’m totally fine with that, but as I get older- the whole idea of hittin’ the sheets with some random fling is becoming tired & not as exciting as it once was. Living in NYC where there’s just so much eye candy and temptation it’s difficult sometimes to remember your morals. All I can advise is: if this is going to be your thing, don’t do it carelessly. Protect yourself & play on playa! I ain’t mad ‘atcha.

One night stands are dangerous. You see a good looking woman or a handsome man out there you cannot tell from their looks what they have until you catch it, and then going with so many one night stand, you won’t even know who you pick up that disease from. One heat of the moment can destroy your life forever. Have you seen the article on the amount of young people from twelve upward to sixty, seventy, who are suffering right now because they cannot even find cure for all these diseases that they are carrying?

I was just searching around about this when I found your blog post. I’m just visiting to say that I very much liked reading this post, it’s really well written. Are you going to post more on this? It appears like there is more material here for later posts.
