A few weeks ago, the BKBOYEEZ were invited to the GRACE Hats showroom in the Fashion District to culminate their week of successful trade shows at the Jacob Javitz Center. Upon exiting the elevator on their Penthouse level (nice touch!), guests were welcomed with flashing lights, rhythmic sounds of House music and a smorgasbord of great food and chill vibes. Trust me, they went IN & so did we! When I tell you there was truly something there for everyone- endless sushi, vegetable & cheese platters, cooked food prepared and served right in front of you and just the way you like it, every fresh fruit you could possibly imagine, tasty desserts and the event wouldn’t be complete without the friendly bartender who kept the wine & spirits coming. It was supposed to be a warm, intimate evening event under the stars, but Mother Nature wasn’t really feeling an outside event that particular night. Despite the gloomy weather and sporatic moments of rain, the event was forced indoors and we took every opportunity to work the room. The event was a success, and we were so happy to be a part of the festivities.

I am not sure if anyone has seen this video on the web with a baby boy in diapers and an adult women in underwear simulating various sexual positions on a bed with someone taping them and laughing. I was so extremely disturbed by it and it reminded me of how the world can so easily rob the young of their youthfulness & innocence. Their innocence is taken without a choice- it’s up to us to protect them.

It’s music release Tuesday and in a few days, Virgin Megastore in Union Square will be closing its doors forever, all CDs and DVDs are 40% off and guess what? I’m dumb BROKE! Here’s the one album I was going in there to get. It’s waaay different from the genres I normally write about, but I love the Dave Matthews Band. I haven’t heard this album yet, but I’m sure it’ll be just a great as the others. Get into them!
