Q&A with KuTTy: Dad…?

There are not many words that I would want to say about my “Dad” because I made a decision not too long ago to let all that I have against him go. Like a lot of people I know, my father was absent for most of my life and I resented him for most of my life. Then there came a time when I realized that by resenting him for so long, I was blind to the person who was always there. My mom wore both the title of Mother & Father, and she wore it well- doing what she had to do to make sure we never needed anything, along with holding her own resentment. So my Mom was my Dad, and I love and appreciate her along with the life she provided wholeheartedly.

    It’s nice to know that you can let that resentment go of your Dad. Many people have carried these types of resentments and hate for so long in their lives that sometimes they have forgotten even how to love or care for anyone. My thing in life now is “Let go and let God.” You will be amazed to see how differently you will feel after you made that decision.
